COVID-19 UPDATE

At Advanced Orthopaedics we value patient care and the trust you place in us as your provider. We feel that is important for us to share with you the steps we are taking to protect the health of our patients and staff amid the risk posed by COVID-19.

We continue to monitor the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Surgeon General to ensure our policies and procedures meet or exceed their guidelines. The health, safety and well-being of our patients and staff are of the utmost importance.

As a healthcare organization, we sanitize daily and clean rooms after each patient, but we have expanded our daily cleaning and disinfecting practices. To limit your exposure, we are also giving patients the option to wait in their car after they check in until their appointment time.

We ask that you as our patient help us to minimize the risks as much as possible by rescheduling your appointment if you are ill, have traveled outside of the United States or have been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside of the United States or if you believe you may have been exposed to the virus. We also ask that you limit the amount of people you are bringing to your visit. If you are able to attend your visit alone we ask that you please do so. If you are unable to attend alone, we ask that only 1 person be brought back to the exam room with you. Historically our policy has been to not penalize a patient for missing an appointment and we will continue to honor this during this time.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have and we will keep you informed with any necessary changes as the situation evolves. We hope you and your families are healthy and safe.
